ABOUT US

In te reo Māori, Kōhatu Ora means “Living Stone.” - this name symbolises strength, resilience, and transformation, with an aim to cultivate a life of purpose through faith.

Our work is rooted in the belief that true transformation and growth take place when we address and deal with our early childhood trauma that has shaped us as individuals and as communities.
We empower families, leaders in non-profits, faith-based organisations and community groups – those on the frontlines addressing the complex needs of our communities. These leaders are equipped with practical ways and also encouraged to lead from a place of emotional stability and resilience.
By building leaders and families on the firm foundation of faith and emotional wellness, we spark a ripple effect of transformation that reaches every corner of our nation. This aligns with our belief that true community change begins with emotionally stable families and grounded leaders whose lives reflect wholeness.
Through Kōhatu Ora, we seek to restore hope, strengthen relationships, and empower communities with faith, hope and love.
